Rebekah Cook is a Christ-follower, team-player, and nonstop encourager who lived in Spain for nearly twenty years before moving stateside to pursue film acting. Growing up bilingual and bicultural prepared her for a multi-hyphenate career. From action-packed historical dramas to warm-hearted family flicks, she has now served on the cast and/or crew of over fifty film productions.
Participating in the casting and production process from both sides has continually cross-trained her skills. Whether in front of the camera, or working behind the scenes as director, AD, or script supervisor, she loves getting to the heart of a script, working the characters, and nurturing effective communication and creativity to tell meaningful stories with depth and excellence. Off set, she takes time to mentor rising talent through video-conference coaching, and teach workshops at industry events such as the Christian Worldview Film Festival. When playing herself, Rebekah enjoys hand-lettering scripture, harmonizing to worship songs, and being Auntie to her many niblings. Her favorite "sports" include word games, jigsaw puzzles, thrifting, and crafts of all kinds; she is training to be an amazing grandma one day! |
